The HOMER software is an easy to use tool for looking at renewable power systems, distributed power systems, and hybrid power systems. It contains powerful optimization and sensitivity analysis capabilities and simplifies
the task of evaluating designs of both off-grid and grid-connected power systems for a variety of applications. The SWERA data can now be queried and delivered for an easy import into the HOMER software for any single point in the world. Use the Google Maps to select your point or type your latitude and longitude into below boxes. Click on the "Get HOMER Data" button and the SWERA web service will create an XML file in HOMER format with the GHI and Wind data layers. Save the XML to your computer and then Import it into the HOMER software. | ||
